ok, i'm posting.

I've been pretty busy....with, ya know, stuff. :) but at least when i change my background i at least say "hi."
not really a whole lot going on - mom's flying out for texas tonight, and i'm eating a few skittles...
The Clarks just left and i'm real sad about it. :( i'm gonna miss you guys. and Tori, who am I even supposed to go out to lunch with all winter long? I guess taco azteca will still be there when you get back.
so can ya'll even believe how fast the holidays are comming up?! way too fast for me....guess i need to start planning for thanksgiving - it's only a month away. i think me 'n kriss are going to make caramel apples next weekend. that'll be fun. :) i've been wanting to do that for a while. remember the last time we attempted that kriss? you burnt your finger and we had to brake the apples with a hammer.....i think we'll buy our caramel this year. ;)
i got my laptop, josh helped me build it on dell. it's awesome, just can't wait to get it hooked up to the internet. i'll have to post a picture so ya'll can see how cool it looks.
anyway, i think i've rambled long enough tonight. :)

Our trip to Valdez. :)

So, here are some pictures from our trip to Valdez...I'll try and explain a little as I go. :)
This was in the van on Friday morning just before we drove out....the boys were really excited.

the glacier was AWESOME!

the afternoon we drove in. after we set up camp, the guys went down to the docks with the two older boys and ang and tori took a much needed nap. :) me and jenn talked in the other tent, and as you can see here, Jesse was REAL tired.

after the girls woke up, we walked around the town....it is adorable.

this little field was full of bunnys...and the second one ran right up to my feet...i wanted to pet it, but i figured it would start nawing my hand off...it wasn't exactly domestic.

there were fire hydrants on every corner of every little block...i loved it! it was so cute...and they were painted all different...i took pictures of those too, but those will come later. :)

here's the local safeway, a must have. Jesse was having a really good time flipping through all the books here. :)

Reuben was a very unhappy baby here.

here's the nice campground guy who brought us firewood and started our fire the first night...oh yeah, i don't think the guys know about that yet....they were pretty impressed with the fire we had going when they got home. ;)

here's the scary rocks we had to climb down to fish...the ones the bear chased us back up....but that's a story for a different day. :)

when you eat too much Mexican Food?? yeah, well....that's kinda what i feel like right now. Me and Ang just ate out at Gallos...i've been living with her for the last week while Josh was sheep hunting with the guys. we've had fun, but we've actually been really busy...havn't even spent all that much time togeather. oh well - Josh is headed home tonight, so my plan is to go home and get on my treadmill. :) we've missed each other.

Ty brought me a frappuccino at work today, and it pretty much made my day. Wasn't that sweet of him?

So the sun came out this week after hiding all summer long...it's pretty exciting, actually. :D

not much going on right now...the guys are out shooting their guns getting ready to go hunting this weekend (you know what that means - a party!). mom is watching anne of green gables right now....i'm laughing just listening to it. :)
the sun is showing itself for the first time in weeks this afternoon. hopefully it'll stick around...the weather report dosn't sound to promising. this always happens during the fair week though. :) i've been promising heather pictures of the house for a while now....i'll try and do that soon. but for now my treadmill is waiting for me....
