Twas the night before Christmas...

I flew into Honolulu Tuesday night for Christmas break. Anthony flew down from AK and we are having a great time. :) I bought a new camera (yay!) a few days ago so here goes.
We had lunch at Red Lobster on Saturday...so tasty.

Lol it took Shannon a few minutes to figure out how to crack her crab legs...

But when she did...lol...

The wheedle little brother

 My newest sister :)

...and just because.

Today is our holiday baking day...we've been at it since this morning.

...and so have the guys. Sitting around periodically hollering about how they need cookies.

Well, better get back to it. Time to start baking the sugar cookies! Hope everyone is having a fantastic Christmas Eve!

Sister Gift Exchange

So I got a Christmas package from Ang this last week. Thankfully I (FINALLY) downloaded Skype so Ang and Chub could see me open my gifts.

My new centerpiece...beautiful isn't it?

Ang made these beautiful coasters :)

And a travel mug holder...( the other side is camo - so cute!)

Nail polish from the chub. And my Christmas letter from Chub lol. She told me it says "I love auntie Heidi"....definitely going on the fridge.

 Some yummy candles

A new Christmas mug :) I didn't have any in Hawaii with me. It was fully of hot cocoa and candy canes.

Ahh...Christmas cards on the fridge. I won't mention any names (ahem. Bek.) but I'm hoping to have a few more pics to put on my fridge soon.

Thanks Ang!

Ahh, family.

So lately I've really been missing my chub...and my sister. And Lucy...so sad that I've missed her growing up so far. Can't wait to see them in April after I graduate!

Lol there's nothing like a sister...(really, how could you NOT love this face?)

Honestly...don't you wish you could be more like us? We're probably the coolest people that I know of.

Ahhh...Hawaii.

So it turns out I live in the garden of eden...these are all fruit trees in my yard.

Papaya...

Banana...
Oranges...
I do believe those are mangos...
 And my favorite...avocado.
The tree is full of these babies...delish.

And that's not all...there are also little tangerines. And lemons...limes. And a few other random fruit trees. It's pretty awesome :)  My landlord also has a little garden with veggies that he told me to help myself to. I ADORE living in Hawaii. (BTW have any of you ever had fresh guava?? It's amazing! It grows everywhere around here.)

Study-group Sunday

Well, there was supposed to be more than just two of us in our study group today lol...but that's how it works. People fall asleep and don't make it.
So those of us who took Reiki had class first thing this morning. Then Jill and I got together and studied all afternoon...we have another quiz on Tuesday. And Thursday. It's like they don't want us to have any free time. I think it's a conspiracy.
I took more pics but for some reason I can't transfer them from my phone. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Fun in Makawao

So the other day after school, a big group of us headed down to Polli's (mexican) for happy hour. It's always a good time...then a few of us walked around Makawao for a while just causing trouble in general lol. On our walk we found this one street that was lined (quite literally) with avocado trees. Best find ever! And let me tell ya...they were tasty. Overall, school is going great and I've made some good friends. More later!

Here we go again...

Ok. Im going to TRY and start blogging again semi-regularly. I've been crazy busy with school recently. We are just going into week 5. I had a practical for swedish massage today, and we start learning lomi lomi on Wed...so excited! Biology though...that's been a whole different animal. Learning a LOT. Not the funnest part of school lol, but necessary. I have a big skeletal-muscle quiz in the morning and I can't wait for tomorrow to be over and done. Then I can breath a little easier...and catch some beach time.  :)  I'll try and take some pics soon so I can post a few - Maui is beautiful. I absolutely love living here. Except for the bugs. Enough said.

I'm headed to Oahu for Thanksgiving this year to spend a little time with Ty and Shannon. Also crashing their party over Christmas break, and Anthony is meeting me there. It will be great to see them for a while. Speaking of Christmas, I'm supposed to be making something homemade for Bek...when am I even going to find the time for that? And what exactly do you handcraft as a gift for the craft queen? So I'm thinking if I "handpick" an island made gift that should work right? Hehe.

I should probably get a few things done and head to bed. I tend to do a little better on a quiz when all my cylinders are firing...

Namaste.
